Maybe if I get my cock out it will cheer Crawford up a bit?

Much better, he's nice. I enjoy the smaller potteries/potters where they just got up one morning and made what they liked. Some successful and some not, but at least we get new exciting things.
Re: Wye pottery, Clyro, Adam Dworski
So x4 AD goblets. I do like a good goblet. I do like to shock people by brining out a mix of cups for them to use.
It's very predictable - it goes like this.
1) They find it hard to understand (grown adults) that the cups arrayed before them are not all identical. This has never happened to them before.
2) I point out that this is the way with Studio Pottery, it's a good thing that things are different. Do you want to have the same clothes?, drive the same car? all live in the same house.? No? So why should cups be the same? Pick one?
2) They immediately grab for the largest cup available and if successful crow about their choice.
3) I tell them it's a bit sad they did not choose the prettiest cup or the one that feels the best in the hand, the best balanced, the best thrown one, the most expensive one, the one with the best glaze, the one that feels the best to drink from. Imagine that there is enough wine for all, the biggest then becomes meaningless if there is plenty of wine to go round.
4) Normally they look at me blankly - I'm speaking a foreign language - they don't know how to judge in these ways.
So x4 AD goblets, thanks peterart, they will be used

Denby, I think you’re right - same thumb prints and hanging loop. Most are from red clay but a few with white. Thank you

Thank you Naomi, spot on as always! I was too busy using your site looking for combinations of Ab and Bb. I also live not a great distance from the pottery but have only ever had pieces with the painted 'WYE' on
