I do like the crude runes on the back of this plate. Your fingers touch them when you pick it up, giving grip. It's unexpected and also contrasts with the front.

Adam Dworski: a Potter’s Centenary

Adam (Adaš) Dworski (1917-2011) set up the Wye Pottery in Clyro in 1956, and ran it until his retirement in 1997. To celebrate his life and work, we are hosted an exhibition of his pottery, paintings and memorabilia at Pottery Cottage, his original studio and home, as part of Herefordshire Art Week (h.Art).

I have to say that is you check out the links and see some of his better pieces that I see a lot of Leaper and Fisher in his work. The black horse half way down on the gallery link?

I'm slowly going through my collection and it;s in so many boxes.. these pieces came to light but I have several more somewhere.
