Danesby Ware Range info please - "Ripple" (1936)
Hi all
[url=https://servimg.com/view/20521800/57][img]https://i12
I'm interested to pick some brains over this vase/planter/bowl.
I believe it to be danesby Ware. 1930-1940
Denby derby.
I would love to know if it had a range name and also if a factory colour/glaze had a name.
I've been unable find the above through searching the web.
Thanks as always.

It's a posy vase, I think 1950s, not Danesby ware. Need a base Pic.
You used the HTML option for the second image, so it's not showing.

Pretty cool shape for that period. End of art deco?

Re: Denby Pottery "Danesby Ware" ranges
Well well, I have had these before, but never with a Danesby backstamp, just the Bourne mark.
I always assumed they were post-war, 1940s/50s.
There is no picture of this in the book, and it is not shown on the relevant pattern sheet,
but the colours seem to match the description for "RIPPLE" which was introduced in 1936.
