Very unusual, no, not seen any animals by him. Very little is known about him despite his long potting career.

It's a nice looking piece! All the Alan Ward pieces I have seen were his incised full signature. I didn't know he had a stamp...but what do I know.

Apart fron the full name, he did use at least 2 impressed seal marks.
I'm not sure on this one, those loops at each side look odd, W is not right,
