Poole dish
Hi everyone, my first post.
I have a small Poole Pottery dish (I think!) but the name 'Poole' is handwritten underneath, no impressed or printed marks.
Can't seem to find any other pictures of the design, either, so wondered if you could help me?
The red glaze is much nicer and richer than the photos.
Thank you!

Re: Poole Pottery 1980 to present day
The Red glaze reminds me of some Poole that was kindly identified for me on here. From memory it was produced in the first ten years of this century. It was not produced in large quantities ae they had problems with the red glaze. This might well be a trial piece for that work. I just wish I could remember its name!

Oh that's interesting, it might explain why I was unsure it was actually Poole, thank you, I'll look into the red glaze problem.

Himalayan Poppy pattern, approx 15 yrs old, looks like Jane Brewers mark, they made a no. of 'miniature' shapes though this shape is not very common.
