Sage & Willow don't turn up that often, but it
shouldn't be too hard to find the missing ones Ed!

Whitefriars help sought - what's the number for the larger 9566 bud vase?
HI
Could someone help me with the model number for the bigger version of the 9566 please. It's almost the same height but much broader

Re: Whitefriars Glass: Post-1960
Ok, now I know what 9566 is, found it in the book on the 1960 cat page, but
the numbers for it, and the adjacent shapes, are illegible (A copy of a copy I guess).

Re: Whitefriars Glass: Post-1960
Yeah it's hard to find the number for it, someone did tell me once but I didn't keep it. Here's an image I think it's going to be a long trawl through the online catalogues .

Re: Whitefriars Glass: Post-1960
Oh, they are a nice set RV.
Never seen the larger one, and it is not in either of the books I have.
The 1960 Pattern sheet does not show your larger version, next to 9566,
but it would be around that date I guess.

Re: Whitefriars Glass: Post-1960
Thanks, yeah just been through the catalogues on line and it's not there either. I think Wolf knows it on the Whitefriars Facebook Page. This is my full range of colours so far but I have about another 5 as double ups. There's a Ruby apparently but I've never seen one. Rubbish photograph but the one on the right is Gold and the large amber. Golds pretty scarce :0)

You're welcome, glad I could help. I have had a few of these knobbly vases myself. I couldn't remember the pattern number off the top my head, its good to have those details with the thread / post.

Whitefriars Pink Swan
I bought this swan recently assuming it was Whitefriars, on way home realised that I had never seen Whitefriars in that colour so thought probably wrong.
Further investigations suggest that alimited number were produced in pink.
Hoping someone can confirm yes or no and if yes just how uncommon are these.
Thanks John

Re: Whitefriars Glass: Post-1960
Pink was a special colour (as was black), it is definitely a Whitefriars swan, the shape is correct and is one of the earlier ones, as it has a flat, polished base. I presume it is around 8" tall, as it has four wing pulls?
