Stoneware pot BD? Empty Stoneware pot BD?

A well made pot with distinctive handles.
A tiny mark, and not well impressed, Maybe an angular BD.

The speckled clay and the handles remind me of a cheese storage pot of mine, unidentified but certainly French.

Can you rephotograph the mark the other way up?; not just the same photo, edited. A different angle of the shadows may make it easier to see
