Guido Gambone dish

Hi

I got this in a job lot of studio pottery at auction and wondered if anyone can tell me more about it - whether it's genuine, name, date, possible value.  All/any info would be much appreciated.

It looks a little crude, The donkey looks odd. The mark I think should be underglaze.
There are fakes around. A dab of meths on the mark might tell.

I think it’s right as the writing is under the glaze. It’s a bit rough though. Check completed listings on eBay for an idea of value but it’ll be at the lower end of the range.
