Re: Guido Gambone (Italy)
Was this a find? I'll keep my eyes peeled for a little donkey with balloon ears. His glazes are quite distinctive, fuzzy like.

Nice. I’ve never come across one; damaged or otherwise

Re: Guido Gambone (Italy)
DD I would rally like to know why you are against asking Walter DLP about your items. He is an obvious expert who's opinion is widely respected and valued by the wider community. He's on ebay forum he's written books on this period, he has his own website.
Re: Guido Gambone (Italy)
The best find I ever made was was a Guido Gambone cat dish I bought in a charity shops in Sevenoaks. £1.50 it was, and I bought against my wife's wishes...she is not a cat lover! But the illustration was soo nice, I just liked it. Stayed in the car for a couple of days until I got it out, and started doing some research on the donkey mark. 10 minutes later I was Wow! Sold on Ebay to Sicilian gallery for a nice little sum.... Mind you, this was many years ago.

Re: Guido Gambone (Italy)
The only other(s) I ever found were the two dishes at the top.
Sold the more damaged one of the two and kept the other.
