Studio pottery vase - Anvil Pottery

picked a lovely studio vase up today could't leave it for £2 in my local Severn hospice
shop i don't know anything about it but it has a sort of anvil mark to the base?
Wondered if it was just pleasing to my eye's ?? approx 7" x 7"

Great site 20th century forum
It is a lovely little studio pottery place based up in the direction
of where Tolikien thought about his famous books and only a stones
throw from me
