Vase with sgraffito decoration, marked with the anvil, plus paper label.
Although still in operation, this points to it being a vintage piece.

From their website www.anvilpottery.co.uk =

Some of our pots are stamped with an ‘anvil’ on the base. Mostly, these were made by partner John Hughes (now retired)
