Re: Crown Ducal ware. A.G. Richardson. (Staffs).
Reminds me of a fair few Candy ware pieces I have seen.
Just a thought, I am by no means sure.

Definitely not Candy.

I'd guess staffordshire 1930s.
Pick one from Beswick/Shorter/Clews/Empire/Wade etc etc

Re: Crown Ducal ware. A.G. Richardson. (Staffs).
Crown Ducal used a "recessed" rectangular mark with letters and numbers exactly like
this.
this.

I did find some pitchers marked X8 in the same way, with other Crown Ducal marks, so--well done.

Crown Ducal ware. A.G. Richardson. (Staffs).
Crown Ducal ware was produced by A.G. Richardson, Staffordshire.
1915 - 1934 Gordon pottery, Tunstall.
From 1934 Britannia pottery, Cobridge.
This 7 in vase, shape No 133 is marked, just to the right of the 3,
but is under the dark glaze, so hard to see.
This mark "Crown Ducal ware, England" was used from 1925.

Pattern 7377 "leaf and trellis",
traditionally mis-attributed as a Charlotte Rhead design.
