A nice piece, Naomi, but is it right to describe it as 'chinoiserie'? My understanding is that chinoiserie is specific to items decorated in the Chinese style, and this piece would fall into the 'Japanese aesthetic' category.

I'm working on my Oriflamme collection so it will consist mainly of pairs .
last week I sold a damaged cylinder vase for £110 and bought this undamaged example of a shapely vase for £45

My grandmother owned an Oriflamme vase that I inherited from my mother in 2019.
Does anyone have an idea of the pattern/style/range?
(It's difficult to photograph without getting a reflection!)
