Wilkinson
Despite being the factory that spawned the Clarice Cliff phenomina, Wilkinson did produce some extremely high quality ceramics, the peak came when John Butler developed the awesome Oriflamme range.

Re: Wilkinson
I love Oriflamme... saw two once-lovely vases on Tuesday, very like your top one, but with damage to the neck unfortunately, so I left alone...
still very underrated, and I think the lustre glazes are good. Not quite Ruskin (his crystalline glazes my current oh, that's good...) but good... :cool1:

Re: Wilkinson
I think the fact that it can be said they are not quite Ruskin illustrates just how good this range was.

Re: Wilkinson
I have recently found there were 2 other patterns produced in the Oriflamme range, 'D'Oro which was obviously gold in colour and 'Dragon' which featured a Chinese dragon, again in gold.
I have yet to see either offered for sale but I doubt they would be in my price range due to their rarity.
