Hope so Dan , don't know much about what the output was by bingham , I know Henry Sandon is a collector , this is quite an unusual one I would say .

Large 14" Castle Hedingham " Essex" Jug dated 1889 and signed Edward Bingham , a news clipping from the Telegraph of the same yr sows this as a gift at a wedding .

Probably Edward Bingham, Castle Hedingham Pottery
Spotted at a local auction house. Slipware PAX SALUT. Don't recognise the mark. I'm assuming it's early 20thC from France (Quimper?) or Germany

Agreed. He did revival pieces of much earlier items. Sometimes his marks included details of what he was copying, so I guess Henry III is the era this one was from. Anyway from sunny Essex about 1860-1900 and his stuff nearly always chipped.
