i saw this studio pottery in an antique fair and i was rather taken by it and decided to purchase it years ago.. still can't make out who made it.. got makers mark to base JN something like that.. does anyone know who made it?

i need help with this studio earthenware made in form of cricket ball.. I dont know much about this maker but from the looks of it i am guessing something around 1940 or even earlier than that? studio-pot or big ed you guys have any clue about this maker lettered JN

lol denthenman you are funny.. yes i ask them because they seem to know a lot about potteries.. i just started collecting studio potteries this year before i was into oriental stuff but oriental stuff is for specialist field... but i still collect some if they are quirky and unusual..
