Shepton Mallet
I'm after a little advise from those in the know.
I see the Shepton Mallet fair is next weekend Friday - Sunday. So I'm considering giving one more fair a try.
I'm thinking of going down on the Friday, but was wondering - are the majority of stall holders set up by Friday lunch time, or do many not start until Saturday.
Is it worth going on Friday ? and if so, is there any point in also going again on Saturday (as free entry with fridays ticket) to see extra stalls ?
Thanks for any advice.

Re: Shepton Mallet
Silence probably means that those who know might not be letting on, fearing competition!
I haven't been but a friend of mine, who lives in Gloucestershire, goes on the Friday only.

Re: Shepton Mallet
I have been going to this fair as a buyer for years now , I only go on the saturday , 9AM- 5PM I find this is the best day , I have paid to go on the friday a couple of times before and didn't think it was worthwhile as although stallholders were set up inside , many had covers over the stock and were on the hunt for themselves , Saturday is easily the busiest and best day with plenty of outside stalls as well as all the halls inside , we will be there in the morning en route to cornwall .

Re: Shepton Mallet
can't make my mind up whether to go to Shepton and brave the freezing cold, or head to Hungerford for the more cosy antique shops? or perhaps Brighton instead. Decisions, decisions.
Re: Shepton Mallet
Well, I don't know hungerford or brighton but shepton I do know, there are basically two fairs held here , the larger iacf fair is more expensive both to get in and items in general , this one the flea is cheaper but still very good with many of the same traders attending, with the weather forecast cold but hopefully dry there will be plenty outside traders there, so I think if you haven't been before bisto give it a go nice part of the country.
