japanese bronze style pottery vase Empty japanese bronze style pottery vase

an unusual pottery vase - has definitely seen better days but it caught my eye. It looks to be a copy of a Japanese bronze vase, but made of pottery. There is an impressed mark on the base, but can't read it. It was only when i photographed it that i could see anything in the mark and it may begin "NA..." but that just what my eyes are telling me.

Looks to be more like a urn rather than a vase. I dont know much just saying :)

just seen the mark under a strong light and def reads MADE IN JAPAN. I'm guessing date wise 20s 30s 40s tourist ware replicating real bronze vases / urns
