Another piece of Chinese provincial porcelain, made by illiterate potters hence the butterfly-like marks on the base rather than Chinese characters.
Date? Can't tell. Could be as early as Ming dynasty, but that doesn't mean it's worth more than a few pounds, especially with those chips.
