Tall studio jug with SC Fleur-de-Lis mark - French? Empty Tall studio jug with SC Fleur-de-Lis mark - French?

Love the glaze, but the handle looks a bit weak.

10" tall. 5" across the middle.

Stamped mark on base looks like a Fleur-de-Lis with the initials sc either-side.

So far I've found out it's called a baluster jug, and the shape dates from Medieval times. Whether this is 12th or 20th Century is another matter entirely, since several potters like (Doug Fitch) and suppliers for Medieval re-enactments have revived the shape.
Any guesses? Continental?

I'd say last half of the 20th century for date.

Not a mark I recognise but I'll have a quick look later to see if I can find similar anywhere.
