Can anyone identify these characters?
Fantastic pair of figural stoneware vessels with inscribed decoration and white slip glaze.
Removable head/stopper, no marks to base. 11" & 13" tall. Thanks

Possibly ethnographic/tribal art or student pieces.

Vila Clara does something similar with the arms, but they use honey-coloured glazes and are more polished. http://www.vila-clara.com/en/productes_ceramica_decorada.html
