Beautiful Victorian Posy Vase with Hallmarked Silver Rim. ID Help Please
I'm helping a fella out with a huge collection and I'm hoping the forum here will be able to help me out with identifying a bunch of stuff that I can't nail down on my own. Especially glass because I'm really not very knowledgeable in that area. It should be fun for anyone that wants to help. There's a ton of really nice stuff. The Hallmark on the silver has a Lion Passant and the initials IP and the letter N(?) from what I can tell but that's about it. Anyway, here's the first piece. Thanks for any help.

The mount is English silver but the glass looks continental, Austrian/Bohemian

Thanks for the info mates. I'll do my best to ID the silver and put the vase info as suggested. Cross forum talk here but I'll be posting in pottery too if anyone wants in on the fun for that stuff as well.
Thanks tons, I really appreciate your input.
