Apple green glass paperweight or candle holder

Apple-shaped glass paperweight, 4"w x 2.5"h with an opaque white glass layer cased in a clear apple-green glass layer (maybe a clear glass outer layer?) . A faint vertical banding can be seen in the white layer.

Anyone know where this came from? I asked a friend who has hundreds of paperweights but he doesn't know either over and above "it may be Bohemian", even though he's got a couple in his collection. He thought they might be candle holders rather than plain paperweights.

I'd always understood these were Murano, they come in many different colours.
