Large double handled vase C B monogram - Denby

Hello me again :) this is a large and heavy (2.5kg) double handled bulbous vase. Measures 7 x 9". The decoration is vegetation of some kind and I'm not sure of the technique for getting this effect but I have seen it several times before but cant place ATM. The monogram on the bottom is CB - so i wondered if anyone had any ideas about the pottery or the mark.
Thank you

I think it's Denby. Probably Herbaceous Border pattern (or similar) from the 1930s.

Danesby Denby
Imagine:Alice, Susie, Clarice together for Artists in Industry
A Czech lady (a glaze wizard) called Alice turned up at Denby around the same time as Clarice and Susie were working at or towards their peaks.
What would they have created if, just for a month or so, they had collaborated; Alice doing the glazes, Clarice the shapes and designs, and Susie transferring their ideas onto the pots?

This is a Denby Danesby Ware Electric Blue vase and the glaze is possibly my favourite of all time. I had a similar jug which I sold and regretted it immediately. I was really lucky to come across this at the boot sale. The vase is an 8" one -quite large- and the shape and the colour are wonderful. It looks good from a distance but it looks amazing close up.

I love the colour too.
I'll merge it with the Danesby thread

Re: Denby "Danesby Ware" (England)
It is the Danesby pastel No 46 "Thorne" design.
Could well be attributable to Gilbert.

Cheers :) I looked online but they all mentioned a mark on the Gilbert ones but this doesn’t have one that I can find.

Gilbert marks are quite rare, usually seen on the "garden pottery" range, and
some individual animals.
