Hi - you kindly identified my first experience with Royal Brierley Studio a couple of months ago. Just wondering whether this is another? I can't see this colour in any images I am turning up in the first instance...

Not Royal Brierly, looks more like Kralik crackle to me:

It may not be Kralik as they were not the only company to use this sort of crackle finish, many still do.

Thanks John - it has some wear to the base which makes me think it has some (if not a lot) of age... The wavy rim isn't like the Brierley I am seeing, so you could very well be right. I'll look there...

Good news, it's a "Loetz glass 'Mimosa' iridescent crackle vase C:1900" - at least, according to a listing on rubylane.com.

Hi Naomi - thanks for pointing out that lovely vase. Mine has been sold (the buyer believed it was Kralik, or at least that's what he told me!) The colours in the Ruby Lane piece look richer than the piece I had...
