1950s cat figure Empty 1950s cat figure

Can any one help ID this feline figure? You can remove the tail which is wooden - I think it might be a letter opener? Impressed mark KT123 on the bottom.

Any ideas appreciated.

BTW that looks painful , maybe the KT stands for Kitty Laughter

KT stands for Kornische Tiere (humourous animals), which was one of many series of Goebel models.
