Hi Dan, I also thought about that but it's very light for the size.
All the Vallauris pieces I know that look like this are much heavier.

looks like the same type of clay...a leaf can be very light you know Shrugs

Maybe Paul can recognise the shape. I must say that to me it looks like a fake Vallauris, if such a thing can exist. Happy

I doubt they would fake Vallauris as you could pick a vallauis leaf platter up for a fiver

looks like Vallauris to me as far as I know there are no fakes of this type of ware but in later years they may not have been made in Vallauris

It has a U.S. west coast 50's/60's look to it. I have seen this here in the states, but never with a mark, sorry.
