hi, it `s 6inches high and very like moorcroft design it sits on a mahogony stand and appears to be hand painted

It is hand painted and has been "tube-lined" (the technique Moorcroft is famous for).
I would think it is Old Tupton Ware, but others did similar Moorcroft style decoration.

As Old Tupton is a small village in Derbyshire it must mean that Old Tupton Ware is currently produced in the Far East to help flood the UK market with cheap Moorcrofteque knick knacks. Something that we all desire.
