They used to do leaves of soap, so maybe soap.

Not that I'm aware of Naomi, but there are similarities, black on white with yellow highlights

Hello again - yes I've check and it was made by Crown Devon in 1920s/30s. It's called Circus Elephant. Clare

Only has a painter’s mark. Any other Mark very blurred.

I found it - Crown Devon - Matita range. There are vases & two handled vases in a range of colours.
Shame mine is damaged.

........... but on a positive note it is really out of fashion so the difference in price it might make is quite small.

When I began collecting/dealing in ceramics almost 40 years ago, a perfect piece would have been worth much more than it is today.

Unfortunately this mark is not shown in Goddens, but the lack of "Fieldings"
in the mark, would suggest a date from 1930 onwards, so probably 1930s.
