Amano / Scheurich thoughts.

We have purchased lately 2 pieces of which both are in the mold Amano. With just a bit of checking I came up with Scheurich. The question is, these both seem to be of recent making, based on availability, glaze and form. What is the history and connection between Amano and Scheurich? I hope this is the right place for this question.

Amano series 1992 onwards if i recall correctly.
Please note : marked "Made in Germany", not W.Germany or West-Germany
i.e. after the reunion 1990.

That is correct, Made in Germany. It is just as I thought. Thank you very much vhb64, I really do appreciate it.

I have an Amano vase. Should I start a new thread or post it in Scheurich?

I think you should post it in the Scheurich thread,  to my knowledge "Amano" was just a line of Scheurich.
