ID of a brown and cream with stamped mark on side
Since we seem to be on a roll, here is a real challenge. 13.3 cm tall. The glaze ran down 1/2 over the stamped chop mark. Any ideas, any recognition. Thank you for looking.

Reminds me of Aviemore Pottery, but better quality.
I think Aviemore usually has a black ink rubber stamp mark and usually the pottery itself is molded.
SP may know.

Yes , similar to aviemore , but marked very differently , I think the pattern is quite common .

I certainly see the similarity to Aviemore, but the mark is way different. I have seen similar patterns over the years, but this is the only one we own.

Sorry for the confusion, I'm not saying I think it may be Aviemore, but I'm saying it is quite similar.
So I thought it could help in finding the actual maker, if other people know of any makers that produced work similar to Aviemore.

Wax resist style is / was used by loads of potters , so I think it would be difficult pinpointing this one, especially as marks are so far glazed over .
