Japanese or Chinese pot, 6 sided impressed chop mark Empty Japanese or Chinese pot, 6 sided impressed chop mark

We purchased this pot on eBay about 12 years ago and just now getting around to getting some info on it.  Haven't had any luck in any of my searches.  The true color is more golden beige rather than the greenish in the image, stands 15.87 cm tall.  The mark on the base I have not been able to decipher, though I would think I could, not really.
As always, any and all thoughts are very welcome.
