G L Grandy was commisioned to do some water colour paintings for Chester Zoo to use as signs, they were that well received that they also been marketed to other Zoo's around the country / over seas.

A watercoulor by him was also sold in a Christies sale in 1999.

Apart from the fact I really like the paintings I own by him, this is all I know about his work, does anyone have any more info on him please? (I don't even know his first name)
