Definitely Sid Tustin. Your remarks about lightness are bang on. He was a remarkable potter for many decades. The earthenware makes it quite old, as Winchcombe stopped using Earthenware in the mid 60's.

Edited - Matt Grimmitt thought this diamond mark was for Trudi Finch but Joe says it isn't
