Seeking info on West German Wool Wall Hangings Empty Seeking info on West German Wool Wall Hangings

I have two wall hangings from the same consignor so I am sure they originated in the same place. The female figure has a label on the back.

The fish one has no label. They are both 17.5" wide and 23" in length. Any ideas? TIA!

the mermaid is sat in the same pose as the little mermaid of Copenhagen
