Hi all, this 42cm high and 33cm wide, or in old money 17" high x 14" wide - the black spots are remains of rubber pads that the previous owner stuck to stop it scratching his sideboard.

OK cheers for that, due to the size of the vase I felt that someone may have an idea who made it, my dad who retired a couple of years ago is just doing his finals for his degree in pottery, he told me that anything that is much over 12" tall has a high failure rate when fired, especially with an unusual shape like this one, we have christened it "the lavvie seat vase" cos of it's shape.....
