This vase is somewhat different, in that the base was glazed, then incised. It is 15.5 cm tall with a brown to beige clay body. Somewhat heavy for its size and form. It feels almost like stoneware, but can only see the clay used through the incised area. It came from a German dealer a number of years ago. Hope someone can id it, we really like it. I did a flip on the base, in case the script was upside down, I hope it helps.
Thanks in advance
Jack
