Wonderful brown stoneware vase only 7.7 cm tall. Glaze is a glossy mix of browns and blues. Large incised B on base. No idea, but purchased from a German ceramics dealer.
Thank you in advance

With you being in Illinois, and the item purchased from a German dealer (in Germany?), I'm wondering where this pot traveled to and from; but according to Lois "Lehner's Encyclopedia of U.S. Marks", this exactly matches one of the various marks used on "Stoneware by Brown", studio potters Terry and Larry Brown, 1972-83+ (1983 being the publication date), in Anaheim California. It's a lovely piece.

WOW, how crazy is that. Wonderful, thank you very much. I would NEVER have thought that. Yes, from Germany.
