Loetz? bowl
Hi,
I purchased this yesterday, it was sat alone in an under the table box at a bootsale. I'm sure I've seen it before. I think it's Bohemian but am not sure which factory produced i. It's not perfect as it has a miniscule nibble on inner top edge and a little wear but I like it and at 50p I was not going to leave to be broken in that box.Measures just 2.6" tall. Any thoughts on origen would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bryn

Re: Loetz? bowl
I have one with the same decoration, never found out much about it apart from it being possibly Austrian/Bohemian

Hi,
I really like your vase Davee. The colour is discribed in a Czechoslovakian Glass magazine entitled Collectors Guild International from 1995 as being mint green and attributed to Michael Powolny. Unfortunatly other similar attributions in the magazine have since been proven to be inaccurate.
The base has an "orange peel" finish. Photo attatched.
Thanks.
