Bahrain pottery
I tend to rotate pottery and glass because I have restricted display space. Packed away I have several items of David Fry pottery, two blue pots, two blue/purple bowls, all with impressed mark, and a small squat pot, matt glazed light brown & yellow with a hand inscribed signature. On display with the David Frys I had a lovely car boot find: a small round heavy vivid blue glazed pot with a short thin neck and scraffito decoration round the shoulders. Very well excuted - not your usual souvenir "tat" (to quote the Duke
). I'll retrieve the box from the garage tomorrow and wonder into which section I should put the Bahrain pot? Please advise. Has anyone come across or heard of Bahrain pottery? Can't find anything on the Web. V

Bahrain pottery vase
Here are pics of my lovely little blue vase from Bahrain. It is 12cm tall; quite heavy for its size and the impressed mark reads Made in Bahrain. I've had it for about 12 years. What do you think? I hope it doesn't draw a blank.
