Gilbert Valentin, or look-alike? ID found - Elchinger, Alsace

Bought this from French ebay, just on the strength of one side-view pic. Thought it might be Gilbert Valentin, or even one of the Bitossi look-alikes. Opened it and was pleased to see the red motif. Very Valentin. But the base is wrong for Valentin/Les Archanges, and it's lightweight and seems to be hollow. Any ideas?
