Possibly German Unmarked Black Footed Vase
Does anyone recognize this? So far the people I've asked think it is German. It is 7"x81/2"x2" (sorry for not using metric!)

Re: Possibly German Unmarked Black Footed Vase
I have seen Vest pots with similar feet, similar square bodies and similar chimneys on top but non of these aspects were a good match for your tv and non had your glaze so my gut says it isn't Vest

Re: Possibly German Unmarked Black Footed Vase
Looks familiar, c.60s-70s design, but I'm not seeing the same quality. I suspect it's a student piece.

Someone has suggested Japanese, I'm thinking that's another good guess.

Re: Possibly German Unmarked Black Footed Vase
I imagine that guess might be because of the sculptor, Isamu Noguchi, but not a guess that has any foundation really.

Re: Possibly German Unmarked Black Footed Vase
It's not Lore , or Vest ,closest to a german maker would be Schaeffenacker but only in form , I'm with Naomi and would say a student piece .
