Angela Marshall, gold decoration - A mark

Anyone got any ideas about the origin of this?

Hand thrown,porcelain, 14cm high, quite heavy for it's size. Rather similar technique to Mary Rich, but without the subtlety. Tiny gold mark on base.

Is anyone familiar with the work of the Devon potter Angela Marshall? BSPM gives her mark as an "A" above a dot in gold, albeit in a circle: but I can't find any of her work to compare it with.

I cannot find any of her work either , but painted gold A with dot and the type of pot you have points to her IMO , I wouldn't worry about the circle thing , a lot of the marks in the studio book have variations as i have found when I've contacted certain potters .

Fairly sure these are Angela Marshall, though Oxford Ceramics had sold a piece listed as being by Bernard Forrester.

I have a bowl somewhere much like the one in the first link, will try and remember to add some pictures.

A beautifully made and decorated porcelain bowl, 7 in diameter,
similar in style to Mary Rich or Emmie Philps.
"A" painted in gold. The flash doesn't do the gilding justice.
