orange, yellow, blue and turquoise glaze - getting nowhere - help
I love this jug. It is incredibly pretty and absolutely gorgeous colours. But is unmarked.
So is it British do you think?
I thought it may be 30's and have searched Lancastrian, Shelley, Carltonware and Ruskin so far. Ruskin is the nearest. But wouldn't it be marked then? So what can it be? Is it maybe not British?
Any help on where to look next would be much appreciated. The glaze is part matt, part with a sheen (the orange has a sheen) the matt is sort of orange peelish in look.
many thanks
m

Very Nice Glaze m, at first I thought Italian , but that's just a pure guess , it's the high handle and being unmarked , it does look similar to the link you showed ,but they are all marked , still nice piece though

well I did suspect that the shape didn't feel right for British (it sits really nicely with my WGP pots - so at least I have been learning something along the way. Will continue to search to see if I can match the shape somewhere then. Thanks all
