Nice brown pot--anyone know who made it?
This is one of the finest pieces of stoneware I've seen--about 5 inches ear to ear, super thin walls--about 1/8 inch. Nice chop mark that I can't find any info on. Looks English to me. Any thoughts/observations?

I agree it looks English, the first letter in the mark resembles an S.
I would push some plasticine, clay or blue tac over the mark to see if the imprint is easier to read
