No marks at all?
The blueish-grey glaze looks similar to that used by Elisabeth Anne Bailey, although the style is very different to other work of hers that I've seen. She uses very dark red clay and usually leaves the bottom rim un-glazed, and this is also where she marks her work with incised 'EAB' The letters are joined and the 'E' looks more like a 'C'.
She's the only female potter I can think of working out of York.

silly me there was a base mark ,stoneware bought in Pocklington 1980s potter a woman working in the area :east yorkshire

Not E.A. Bailey then, but I'd wager the blue-grey glaze came from the same supplier.
