Old flower design hanging plaque-is it Scandinavian? - T Matthews?

This caught my eye, I'm assuming it's not british just by the design (though I'm almost always wrong!) The underside has no mark but an indentation and marks left from, I think, it being poured into a mould.
I can't find anything the same on searching. I think it was used under a teapot!

Does anyone recognise this:
She measures approx 4.25 x 4" and 3/4" deep. There is no glaze on the back and it has a hole for hanging. Any help as always is really appreciated, even if its to tell me to stop buying tat :)

here is the first piece I have seen with a definite maker's mark, the M adds a little more to my Matthews theory

three days ago in a not very good local collectors market I came across a letter rack clearly made by the same pottery
It had a label on the back which I wish I had photo'd but didn't and now can't remember
It was something like Matthews pottery Gomshall Mill or somewhere definitely in Surrey
I guess you already know this as you said English pottery

There was a Molly Coryn, Gomshall Pottery, Surrey, in the 1950s but I don’t know about a Matthews working there

The original pottery was established in his home in Morden in Surrey and moved to the Old Dairy in Gomshall in the early 1980s.. I worked for him when I left college and the pottery made hand cast flat earthenware ,.. wall plaques, door numbers , board games etc..... happy days for me

Another email with additional info:
. I forgot to add that early works were not stamped but from about 1980 on wards an impressed stamp J Matthews Made in England was used as Jim became aware that sales were going to tourists from abroad and he wanted their English origin noted on them

I found one today in a Charity shop, thanks to this post I know know who made her. I thought she looked Scandinavian. No marks on back. She is lovely.

I found one of his ladies in a box of misc in a charity shop a few years ago now, she was unmarked. Someone begged me to sell her as a present for their partner and I did let her go but still have the occasional pang of regret over it! They're lovely.
