Danish jug NIELS STIIL

I have just received a jug with the incised name stül and beneath that Danmark

has anyone heard of them? (I know you will have heard of Denmark)

I have drawn a total blank when looking for the word stul but stiil might be more productive,I think that is a Danish name?
