Motoko worked in this country from 1999 until 2005 when she returned to Japan, where she continues to pot.

A couple of yunomis that were first exhibited and sold at her two person exhibition at the Harlequin Gallery in 2002. Made in St. Ives and bought back and re-sold for the second time recently!

Stunning Dish pretty sure it is a japanese mark - hopelessly ignorant on Japanese potters though, so if anyone knows the mark would be massively grateful as this dish is a stunner -

The stoneware body looks like the clay she was using when she was at Gaolyard Studios in St. Ives. Certainly the style is.
