Agreed. She had some similar plates at Hatfield, based on the Japanese form. She said she hasn’t been doing them for long. Here’s one I regret not buying at the show.

no it's taken from a card she sent me for Christmas but is a fine example of her current production and also has a Christmas theme.
My next piece will be a milk jug

Post by Beege August 21st 2020, 1:29 pm

Hi all.
Can anyone please help me identify the maker of this mug.
I have looked in Fournier but failed to spot this mark. My photograph is less that perfect, but hopeful;y its clear enough to identify.
Thank you for your help.

You know you have got too much when you can't remember where you bought stuff. Laughter Way back in the mists of time probably from Ebay. Just clearing out some of the stuff we just cannot display any more, and putting the photos on here when they sold. Posts for memory Lane Happy Mind you it wasn't doing any good in the garage.

Does anyone know when Tudball started using soda glaze? I heard she developed it before Lisa Hammond. Would that have been in College?

From her home page.

'In 1989 I graduated with a Commendation and two years’ worth of research into soda glazing from Goldsmith’s. This led to writing a book “Soda Glazing” published by A&C Black in 1995.'
